
Although it probably will not be any faster for my current workflow, it should last longer than the Pro, plus, I've been wanting to start getting back into video editing and the Max seems like the machine to get me there. That being said, I think I've decided to send it back and get the M1 Max. I can't believe how fast this thing is, finally, a machine that can keep up with what I'm trying to do. Opened a few files in photoshop, again, no waiting. None of that "Preparing" stuff has been happening, it just starts saving. Even with file saves, I used to get a "Preparing to save" and then it would save the file in the background. Everything that I try to do in Illustrator is instantaneous. I think I saw a spinning beach ball very briefly one time.
